DH Thaggard
Owner & Controller
D.H. grew up in Cleveland, TN and attended Lee University, where he majored in English and later completed his Masters in Education.
Prior to his current role at Forte, D.H. worked as the Operations Manager for a Boston-area non-profit that focused on boosting the graduation rate at several public schools in the city.
After moving to Chattanooga in 2010, he joined David at Paragon Construction, where they were preparing to ramp up involvement in the privatization initiative with Lendlease. At Paragon, D.H. filled the roles of Controller, Accounts Receivable, IT and HR until 2022, when he and David began exploring the idea of re-entering the world of military housing contracting under a new entity.
D.H. lives with his wife and two sons in Central Massachusetts, where they enjoy reading, building with Lego, working in their yard and planning camping trips. And lots of Nintendo Switch.
